CAIR: No Comment?

Today on Fox News Channel, there was some discussion of the documentary Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against The West, recently released on DVD. The moderator of the discussion stated that CAIR had been invited to participate in the discussion, but had declined.

Now, why is that? One would think that such a discussion on cable news would be an excellent opportunity for CAIR (1) to debunk the film and (2) to issue a call for moderate Muslims to speak out against Islamic radicals.

Always On Watch,

Could you please provide a link to the show (transcript or video)? I couldn't find it on the Fox News Web site and I’d like to check it out.

"Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against The West" is okay, but in my opinion it's still full of political correctness. However, they do a good job at exposing what the Islamic media says, and how all this hate from Islamic countries is parallel to the rise of Nazism. It did a poor job in identifying the enemy, and it was too optimistic for 'moderate' Muslims.

"Islam: What The West Needs to Know" is 100% un-PC. A must-see. Available on DVD:

CAIR Hawk,
I'll check for a link. I was watching FNC between 3:00 and 3:30 when the segment came on. Perhaps FNC will post a link in a day or two.

"Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against The West" is okay, but in my opinion it's still full of political correctness...."Islam: What The West Needs to Know" is 100% un-PC.

Absolutely! But for those who are uninformed, Obsession is a good starting point. The two films share common footage.

I own the DVD's of both Obsession and Islam: What the West Needs to Know.

My opinion is that people should see the first, digest the info a bit, then see the second.

it has been my experience that fox does not update their archives for 24+ hours so this may not be able to be accessed until tomorrow afternoon - i'm looking for it as we speak.

I too agree that, for the most part, it's good as a starting point for those who don't know what's really going on but still has PC crap in it too. A must see though.
Thanks for your comments on my blog. I'll check here often too.
