Islamic Relief Gets a Pass
Deborah Horan from the Chicago Tribune gave a pass to Islamic Relief, the British charity with offices in four U.S. states that Israel has labeled a "Hamas front."
Horan writes, "But Islamic Relief also benefits from a reputation of trustworthiness, said mainstream aid workers, as well as other Muslim ones." Is this the Chicago Tribune's idea of a balanced argument?!
See Muslim charity strives to keep 'clean' and Israel accuses British-funded Islamic charity of being front for terrorists.
A reminder to everyone reading this, Hamas is on the U.S. State Department's list of terrorist organizations. If what Israel is saying is in fact true, why does this 'charity' still exist?

"Muslim Anger Burns Over Lingering Probe of Charities", lengthy article in the local-news section of the October 11, 2006 WaPo. Just in case you didn't see the article. I didn't see any mention of CAIR, but I might have overlooked any such mention.
