Radical Muslims are trying to recruit kids to Islam with cold hard cash

The Muslim Students Association has organized the "Muslim Inter-Scholastic Tournament," which tests children in public schools on their ability to recite Muslim prayers. (The same prayers, taught in Madrasas, that foment hatred and violence against America).

All high school children are permitted to compete for the prize money, but female children who do not wear the headscarf are penalized. Non-Muslim girls who have objected to wearing the headscarf for the tournament, have been chastised and pressured by the tournament organizers for refusing. According to the Muslim Students Association, which was founded by the North American Islamic Trust, which owns hundreds of mosques in the U.S. and Canada, the girls must conform to Islam's sharia law dress codes, or they will be ineligible to vie for educational funds. (Please see MIST website for verification of this policy.)

According to research done by the Center for Security Policy:
"In the United States, two leading Saudi-backed organizations are the MSA and the Islamic Society of North America (the MSA's adult counterpart), both of which receive major funding, direction, and influence from Riyadh."
"In addition, there is overwhelming evidence that the MSA, far from being a benign student society, is an overtly political organization seeking to create a single Muslim voice on U.S. campuses—a voice espousing, anti-Americanism, and anti-Semitism, and expressing solidarity with militant Islamist ideologies."

Muslim woman defends oppression of women

The founder of Islamic Networks Group, Maha Elgenaidi, will be advocating Islam as, "a gift of God's mercy to humankind," at the Divinity school of the Pacific in Berkeley on 1/30/08.

Ms. Elgenaidi, who emigrated to the U.S. from Egypt at the age of 24 by way of a student visa, confesses on her website that her, "greatest challenge was working with Muslim (men) who consigned the role of women to raising children at home." She also states that while employed in Egypt, in a clerical capacity, she was not allowed to speak in the presence of men. She was instructed to speak in all of the "women's committees" she liked. Ms. Elgenaidi, also relates that, after moving to the U.S. she "very quickly learned about the rights of women here and the (subjugated) role of women in Islam." She also states that she, "learned to fight back (against her oppressors) and hold her ground."
Why then, I ask you, is she running around spouting off to anyone who will listen about how great Islam is?!! I'll tell you why. She's getting a higher ticket price for her show than many a fine rock star! How nice for her that she has been able to work a profitable angle out of her Muslim life experience. For money, she is willing to continue to call herself a Muslim, and claim that she likes it, as long as she doesn't have to live in a Muslim country.
