Walid Shoebat at UC Davis

I noticed blogger Atlas Shrugs posted this article in relation to the appearance of well known former terrorist Walid Shoebat, who now speaks out for Israel. Like Joe Kaufman and Daniel Pipes, his work tends to bring out the Islamists in force.

What I found intriguing was the response of those in attendance. Verbal Caricature, the originator of the video, states, "...Everyone burst into applause as they left with their heads down after not yielding the results they had hoped for."

Having witnessed first hand the outrageous conduct of the Muslim Student Union at UC Irvine, the subsequent "blow back" in national intellectual and cultural arenas has been tremendous. At this point in time, this has been facilitated by the community exploitation of the new technologies available, from academic's and activists' web sites and blogs, to easy video technologies uploaded to Google Video and linked across the "blogosphere," and with eye witness accounts, mainstream America can finally get an up close look at what is happening in the U.S.. Those speaking out against militant, expansionist Islam now have audiences in the thousands, well above the few in attendance at their regional conferences.

Fueling that are these wonderful examples of a few intrepid and creative individuals, in support of these speakers, utilizing what they have available to them, taking a hard stand to strengthen the spines of many more — and sparks we should certainly encourage into a wider flame.

CAIR has, predictably, staying true to form, asked UC Davis Campus Police to detain him.

"Walid Shoebat is either a self-admitted criminal or complete fraud," said Basim Elkarra, a Palestinian American and area director of CAIR.

Yet as of this writing, Mr. Shoebat is still on the loose, wreaking havoc on the totalitarian Islamists plans. :-)

Bedier Says President Bush "Caused" Terrorism in Iraq

WFLA, NBC-8 gathered a panel of locals to view and critique President Bush's January 23rd State of the Union address. Included in this panel was Ahmed Bedier, the Communications Director for CAIR Florida. Unfortunately, the local media doesn't mind that the group this individual represents, CAIR, refuses to condemn Hamas and Hezbollah as terrorist organizations. The reporter for the story was Peter Bernard.

Bernard: "... and well known activist, Ahmad Bedier, member of CAIR, the Council of American-Islamic Relations. He says the President used divisive language that will tend to alienate the very people the President needs to help solve the situation in Iraq. He advocates diplomacy and not bombs."

Bedier: "Terrorism is at an all-time high in Iraq, because the U.S. invaded Iraq. Before that, this type of destabilization was not present there. The havens for terrorists -- he's acknowledging it's becoming a haven for terrorists, but he's not taking responsibility for causing that to happen."

According to Bedier, on his blog, the "divisive" language he was referring to was President Bush's use of the terms "Sunni Extremists" and "Shia Extremists." The terms were heard many times during the speech. As well, he probably didn't like the use of the term "Islamist radical" either.

Maybe Mr. Bedier doesn't like the words, because he, himself, has been described in such terms, and rightfully so. Or maybe Bedier fancies these monsters as freedom fighters, not the extremists or terrorists that they are.

Bedier says that President Bush should take responsibility for "causing" the terrorism in Iraq. So, in Bedier's twisted logic, President Bush caused the terrorism -- not the Sunni Extremists or the Shia Extremists blowing up each other, women and children included -- but President Bush. Then again, to Bedier, the terrorists are not terrorists and the extremists are not extremists.

If you're confused, Ahmed Bedier did his job... and WFLA couldn't care less.

"The Shia and Sunni extremists are different faces of the same totalitarian threat. Whatever slogans they chant, when they slaughter the innocent they have the same wicked purposes. They want to kill Americans, kill democracy in the Middle East, and gain the weapons to kill on an even more horrific scale." - President George W. Bush, State of the Union, 1/23/07

Radical Islamic Agenda Exposed

We now have proof that radical Islam's indoctrination knows no bounds thanks to this article. Here's the shocking admission:
The principal of an Islamic school has admitted that it uses textbooks which describe Jews as "apes" and Christians as "pigs" and has refused to withdraw them. Dr Sumaya Alyusuf confirmed that the offending books exist after former teacher Colin Cook, 57, alleged that children as young as five are taught from racist materials at the King Fahd Academy in Acton. In an interview on BBC2's Newsnight, Dr Alyusuf was asked by Jeremy Paxman whether she recognised the books.
She said: "Yes, I do recognise these books, of course. We have these books in our school. These books have good chapters that can be used by the teachers. It depends on the objectives the teacher wants to achieve."
It's common knowledge that the Saudis supply this type of textbook to madrassas all across the Middle East. This article is the first I've read that talks about this type of textbook being used in Western Europe. What's most unnerving is that the principal readily admits that they're using this type of textbook and that they won't withdraw them from the classroom.

These books shouldn't be used in teaching 5 year old children. It isn't a stretch that these book are being used to indoctrinate children in the ways of jihad, with this being the first step in that indoctrination. We shouldn't buy Dr. Alyusuf's claim that "these books have good chapters that can be used by the teachers." That's her attempt at spinning the story.

There isn't any justification for this type of literature being part of a 5 year old's curriculum. Here's another alarming exchange:
The school is owned, funded and run by the government of Saudi Arabia. Mr Paxman asked: "Will you now remove this nonsense from the Saudi Ministry of Education from your school?"

Dr Alyusuf replied: "Just to reiterate what I said earlier, there are chapters from these books that are used and that will serve our objectives. But we don't teach hatred towards Judaism or Christianity...on the contrary."
Dr. Alyusuf isn't telling the truth when she admits in one sentence that the books teach children that Jews are apes and Christians are pigs, then says that "we don't teach hatred towards Judaism or Christianity..." Are we to believe that 5-year-olds are able to comprehend that Jews and Christians are subhuman but that they aren't to be hated? Are we to believe that these children aren't taught that pigs are considered unclean by their teachers and imams one day, then taught that Christians aren't to be hated? Here's what Debbie Schlussel wrote about Muslims and pigs:
SHANGHAI -- Next month, China will ring in the Year of the Pig. Nestle SA planned to celebrate with TV ads featuring a smiling cartoon pig. "Happy new pig year," the ads said. This week, China Central Television, the national state-run TV network, banned Nestle's ad, and all images and spoken references to the animal in commercials, including those tied to the Lunar New Year, China's biggest holiday.

The intent: to avoid offending Muslims, who consider pigs unclean. "China is a multiethnic country," the network's ad department said in a notice sent to ad agencies late Tuesday. "To show respect to Islam, and upon guidance from higher levels of the government, CCTV will keep any 'pig' images off the TV screen."
My point in this is to show people that madrassas teach their children from a very early age that they are to hate Jews and Christians because they're subhuman and unclean. Here's something that MEMRI-TV wrote on the subject:
For example, in a weekly sermon in April 2002, Al-Azhar Sheikh Muhammad Sayyid Tantawi, the highest-ranking cleric in the Sunni Muslim world, called the Jews "the enemies of Allah, descendants of apes and pigs."[1]

In one of his sermons, Saudi sheikh Abd Al-Rahman Al-Sudayyis, imam and preacher at the Al-Haraam mosque, the most important mosque in Mecca, beseeched Allah to annihilate the Jews. He also urged the Arabs to give up peace initiatives with them because they are "the scum of the human race, the rats of the world, the violators of pacts and agreements, the murderers of the prophets, and the offspring of apes and pigs."[2]

"Read history," called Al-Sudayyis in another sermon, "and you will understand that the Jews of yesterday are the evil fathers of the Jews of today, who are evil offspring, infidels, distorters of [others'] words, calf-worshipers, prophet-murderers, prophecy-deniers...the scum of the human race 'whom Allah cursed and turned into apes and pigs...' These are the Jews, an ongoing continuum of deceit, obstinacy, licentiousness, evil, and corruption..."[3]
These imams' preaching that Jews are licentious, evil and corrupt and that Allah has turned them into apes and pigs for being evil and corrupt paints a far different picture than Dr Alyusuf is telling to the western media. My recommendation is to ignore the things that the Dr. Alyusufs of the world say to western media and focus solely on what the imams say when they're playing to a 'friendly' audience. That's when you'll hear what they really believe.

The proof is there. I have two questions for you: Will you listen? Will you act on what you've heard? The safety of our nation depends on your decision.
